It can be hard to find quality apparel that suits your personal outdoor lifestyle needs. The following two pieces of apparel have proven to be high quality products that other women may enjoy as well.
Women’s Alpha Range
If you are looking for reliable boots, LaCrosse Women’s Alpha Range boots may be what you are looking for. These boots have been my go-to boots when in need of tall, rugged, waterproof boots. These boots are perfect for any outside jobs that may get your feet wet or muddy.
The Women’s Alpha Range is made for mild temperatures and has 5mm of neoprene insulation. You can easily customize these boots to fit your calf using the neoprene gusset. The neoprene on the boots not only provides comfort compared to other tall stiff rubber boots, but you can fold down the legs of the boots with ease to help you cool off or to aid in drying the boots. The soles are hardy, and the outsoles have a kickoff plate to aid in taking the boots off. The liners in the Alpha Range boots are made to dry quickly.
I do recommend wearing tall, thicker socks when breaking these boots in to prevent painful blisters. These boots are rugged, but I do wish there were a little more ankle support for women with narrow feet. Depending on the height of your arch, insoles might be needed to ensure support and comfort. I have worn many boots for messy outdoor chores and working my retrievers over the years, but these are my favorite. https://www.lacrossefootwear.com/productfamily/womens-alpha-range/work/?sortId=product_family-asc
Women’s UA Enduro Pants
Under Armour Women’s UA Enduro Pants are a great choice for women seeking a good quality outdoor pant. Their loose fit and ripstop fabric provides comfort, flexibility, and durability. These pants can be dressed up or dressed down making them perfect for a variety of outdoor events or activities.
The Enduro Pants feature front, back, and an unobtrusive zippered pocket on the left leg. The back pockets are of average size. The front pockets are a bit deeper than the average pants, which I like. I get frustrated with most women’s pants because the pockets seem like they are more for décor rather than practical uses. The zippered pocket on the left leg is the perfect size for smaller items such as cash, business cards, keys, and pens.
The Enduro Pants come in the color Ultimate Black / Ultimate Black – 008 and Bayou – 251. Since you can dress these pants up or down, I have worn the Ultimate Black color as slacks. These pants also feature anti-odor technology, which is a must for outdoor events or activities. These pants are known to repel water. Some mist does bead off them, but they will absorb water.
My first time wearing these pants for a long length of time was while attending the 2019 Southeastern Outdoor Press Association Conference. I wore them on a breakout day at Wildrose Kennels. While we spent most of the day walking all around the facility, I experienced how comfortable these pants truly are. I noticed that these pants give with me when bending or squatting. This is a perfect change from awkward fitting pants that feel like they are about to rip at the seams while I am bending.
Given the various qualities and advantages of these pants, they have become my new favorite pant to wear when traveling either long distances in the vehicle or by plane. I am overall impressed with how well made these pants are. Even the zippers are hardy! https://www.underarmour.com/en-us/womens-ua-enduro-pants/pid1316925-251
LaCrosse did a great job designing their Women’s Alpha Range boot to be durable, comfortable, and overall lightweight. I highly recommend women look into these boots. Women who are in search of a pant that shares both outdoor and professional qualities should consider adding Women’s UA Enduro Pants from Under Armour to their closet.
